Certificate of Origin
Why is a certificate of origin needed?
Typically, the authorities of the countries you import goods from may require that the country of origin of the goods be removed from a Certificate of Origin issued in the country you export the goods from. In that case, it is normal for you as an exporting company to apply for a Certificate of Origin, but transport companies can also apply for a Certificate. Certificates of Origin are usually required for trade policy or statistical reasons.
You may also need a EUR1, proof of origin, for the recipient to receive a customs duty reduction in the importing country. You can use a commodity certificate regardless of the value of your goods. EUR1 is used in trade with countries with preferential agreements .
An A.TR movement certificate is issued for exports in trade between the EU and Turkey of goods covered by the Customs Union Agreement.
Import Declarations
Import means that you bring a product into the European Union, EU, from a country outside the EU. In order to use or resell your product, you must clear it for customs, and we will help you with that.
Export Declarations
Exporting means sending a product to a country outside the EU. This can be in connection with a sale, but gifts and other shipments can also be considered exports.
Transit
When you as a company are going to transport goods that have not been cleared through one or more countries, transit is needed.
Commodity Code Classification
All goods have a commodity code that is used for customs processing and the unique commodity code determines customs duties, taxes, and import statistics.
Traces NT
An import notification in Traces NT, the Swedish Board of Agriculture and the Swedish National Food Administration's system, may be required for some products when you import.
