Import notification in Traces NT according to requirements

When importing certain products into the EU, additional checks by the Swedish National Food Agency or the Swedish Board of Agriculture may be required. If your goods enter the EU by car, the first check into the EU takes place at the border checkpoint there. If your goods arrive by air or sea, they must be pre-registered here in Sweden. It is the commodity code, and in some cases also the country of origin, that determines whether your goods are subject to inspection.

A so-called health import document, import notification in Traces NT, the Swedish National Food Agency's and the Swedish Board of Agriculture's systems, may be required for some products when you import them.
There are different CHED health import documents depending on the type of goods you are importing.
