Import Notification in Traces NT
When importing certain products into the EU, additional checks by the National Food Agency or the Board of Agriculture may be required. If your goods enter the EU by road, the first check takes place upon arrival in the first EU country. If your goods arrive by air or sea, they must be pre-notified in Sweden. The commodity code, and in some cases the country of origin, determines whether your goods are subject to controls.
A health import notification in Traces NT, the system used by the Board of Agriculture and the National Food Agency, may be required for some products during import. There are different CHED health import documents depending on the type of goods you are importing.
