Customs focus on the future
In the fall of 2023, it will be 10 years since Tullfokus AB was founded to serve companies with their export and import business. Since 2013, we have delivered customs declarations, training and consulting services to hundreds of satisfied customers. Thank you to all our fantastic customers for the loyalty and trust you have shown.
The customs world is exciting as it is constantly evolving and moving. As many of you know, we are now and in the coming years facing major changes in connection with the introduction of the UCC (Union Customs Code). There will be new processes for both export, import and transit, which requires both expanded IT systems and new skills.
To strengthen Tullfokus AB for the next 10 years and all the ongoing changes, Tullfokus has chosen to bring in a new partner in the company through Vidar Gundersen and the company Customs Services Nordic AB. Vidar Gundersen has a solid 35 years of customs experience both in the private sector and in leading positions within the Swedish Customs Administration.
The goal is to start the next phase in Tullfokus AB's development journey. In addition to investing in the office in Ystad and today's operations, there will be a focus on trade with Norway, both import and export. A Norwegian subsidiary, Tollfokus AS, has been established and in the new year 2024 we expect to be able to offer a full range of services there as well. We also have a network of partners around Europe, including England, and through this we are able to offer our customers Pan European coverage.
We look forward to continuing the journey together with both existing and new customers and our partners.
